Default 37 Stiletto - New power/drives/cabin/bling

Things are finally starting to really move on my 37 project, so I thought I would post a few pics then update as things come together. Unfortunetley, I'm probably looking at mid-June for completion, but I'm paying for everything as I go and sometimes boat stuff has to take a back seat to other more important things, like food for the kids.

The last pic is me loaded and heading to Eddie's shop last Friday. Hope to see some of you on the water soon!

So you are the one that bought the motors from John. I see some broken bravos in your future. You are not going to be happy with the reliability of bravos behind that power. Not trying to bust your balls but I have owned 2 37s, the 1st w bravos and the 2nd w 6s. There is a reason why I bought the 6 boat.

Sorry, I just reread your heading which indicates new drives. What are you putting on it for drives.

Not quite sure why, but the 37' stiletto still does it for me. Never rode in one but the profile (and pretty much any view) seems to have all the right shapes and angles.

Unless something changes, I'm going with the SCX drive. We still are up in the air as to which SCX to go with though. Eddie's going to take some measurements and we'll then seek advice from OL. Going with #6 prop shaft for sure, just don't know about -4 versus standard.

They make 1050 HP with the right pulley, but I will be using a pulley that will detune them, at least for a while. I'm coming from a 70-75 MPH 30' Baja, no need for 1050 HP right out of the gate.
