Which one? I'm just curious. This boat has a VERY spacious cabin. I'm sure the OL is quite a bit lighter than the Hustler. Regardless, that's fast. Outerlimits builds a hell of a boat.
This boat will bust 140 once all the dialing in is done. We never actually got the engines wide open. I had one engine going a touch lean over 5700 and I didn't want to push it. Every time I fly with my tuning stuff, TSA goes through my bags. They apparantly took my data cable out and neglected to put it back in. I could not make any changes to the engines, so I stopped them short of WOT to be safe. It didn't really matter since we didn't have props large enough any way. They would have turned the 35's over 6500 rpm. THe engines made peak power about 6100, so there really wasn't much sense in turning them that high.
This was the one and only time the boat has hit the water. Once we get the props and I can do some tweaking to the ecms, we'll go wring it's neck for all it's worth and report back.
Thanks,
Eddie
