Have one question any help would be a plus. When running down the lake pull the throttle back, the boat wants to dart to the right just for a second the goes straight again, only does it when I pull the throttle back, seems better if I ease throttle back slowly. I put all new pins and bushing in all pivots last winter figured that would fix problem, also has imco hydraulic steering assist cylinder on rear. thanks Justin

Justin,
with an add on system, you are still using the cable to steer. There could be slop in the cable and causing the issue. Have you tried turning to the left a bit as you cut it? That would help take up any slack and hold it true. When you back off quickly the torque from the prop is relieved and any slack will cause it to dart to one side. It may be time to look at full hydraulic..
Hope that helps.
