Default Ideas for theft deterrent?

Considering leaving my boat at my fathers winter home in FL from Nov-March. The house is in a small 6-8 home cul de sac community with no record of theft. But my father uses the house sporadically in the winter months, leaving it unoccupied for weeks at a time. He allows 2 other guys to keep their boats there, and have not had any issues...but they don't have a few k in stereo equipment...

Any ideas on how I can make storage there safe?

Where in FL? Could the stereo equipment be easily removed? Is the boat visible from the street?

how hard would it be just to pop out the stereo and some of the speakers, seems a couple hours, then just put it back when you go to use it again.

I have heard of some alarms being out there that when a certain snap on the cover is taken off it sets the alarm off and it can call a specific number and let you know.
