does anybody know whats the correct valve seal to use on a 2000 500hp merc carbed engine?

Being cast iron heads, I would use a teflon seal on the intake and exhaust, But remove the spiral ring on the exhaust valve for oiling the exhaust guide. Or you can use a umbrella seal on the exhaust.

The seals that I use are made from a high temp fluoro-elastomer and a steel outer jacket instead of the usual teflon PC seals or rubber umbrella seals. They cost a little more but are well worth it.
