True, but that's also mid-lake at the North end of the lake. We've crossed the lake in that area in late July and seen low 50's
It can make for fog so thick you can't see the bow!
Spots like Hayne's beach etc should be warmer. I will be out to do some musky fishing on Saturday AM (season opener) and will report back the temps I see then. I don't have a water temp sensor on the Sonic which might be out before Saturday.
You could also try Lake Links to check with the fisherman, they always know water temps (at least the good ones do
)

Pretty accurate for our area, Saginaw Bay at the beach was 65 over the weekend.
