Reggie in Jacksonville
#1
Saturday morning and everyone was getting their boats ready the start of the poker run. Looked up and there is Reggie Fountain walking the docks and stopping to chat with all the boaters. Reggie has let his hair go to its natural color and he looks 10 years younger and refreshed. The legend still draws the crowds and like him or not he is great for our sport.
I hope he and more of the Legends and newer boat builders start showing up at events.I feel that everyone who talked with him on the docks or at the Outback Crab Shack enjoyed the one on one conversation.
Reggie had engine builder and close friend Joey Griffin with him and hinted at new things to come.
Thanks for stopping by Jacksonville Reggie , and hope to see you at many more events.

There's several current pictures of Reggie on his new website:

I had the pleasure of meeting Reggie for the first time last month at their new facility. He still backs his boats 100% and is as enthusiastic as ever.

It's great to here that the Legend, Reggie Fountain is still around and that he turned up at the Jacksonville Poker Run and talked to the people at the docks. I have a lot of "RESPECT" for Reggie Fountain and can only say positive things about him and his accomplishments.

I bump in to him time to time.
and it was good talking to him for a few minues at lunch. A year or so ago, I bumped into him near Bradenton at a gas station. At the time he was doing something with the Marines, (may be coast guard or navy, don't remember, but it was some Gov. meeting)
I know him since the mid 80's, and while we had some issues.. lol... I respect his stuff and wish him good luck in his endevors.

I have owned three 42 Fountains, it was a pleasure to meet Reggie on Saturday at the Crab Shack. While talking to him I quickly understood the passion this man has not only for the boats with his name on them but the overall sport of performance boating.
