I remember a few boat had Jonhson outboards installed and were featured on our brochure and also the retail price.We also offered foot throttles ,installed at our factory at north Miami. There were also special trailers offered that fit the tunnel.sonny miller Magnum 60's 70's .......

Any idea who designed the deck on the 27 sport?

Don , the sport and the sedan 27s all done at magnum. sonny miller . there could have been some drawings, i never saw any.m only a few people at that time were draftsman , none were boat race drivers to my knowledge . on the deck designs by Don I saw him come out and over see the plug work him self. and also making changes. I was working on the magnum race team at that time.except jim wynn .

The 27' Sport and Sedan were made from cut-down 28' Magnums. Harry did the 28' for Don (disigned and built) at Magnum. Later, the 27' Sport becane the the 28' Cig, and the 26'/29' Cary. Small world/
