I have a '95 that does just fine. No problems handling the waters and seems to be pretty easy to dock in some of the tight slips at some of the popular stops.... except for the times when you have one drive that won't shift into rev. like mine did this past weekend.

I really doubt that you will see an extreme difference in ride going from a 28 PQ to a 32 Fountain. It will be a little better, but will still beat you up on the weekends.

32 Fountains were never the handling hull the 35s and 38s are either. Given their lack of popularity and the huge popularity of the 35, you might be better off looking for a used 35.

I would love to buy a 35 but only have a 32ft slip. I'm not a huge fan of how low they sit in the back. But does have a very good look in my opinion. R there any other 30s to 32s brands that r good boats for the lake

I ran a 32 sunsation there for 5 seasons without any issues. 32 AT would be great. 33 Scarab would also be great.

1) 31 Cig Mistress/Vice twin step.
2) 32 Active Thunder.
3) Extend your slip

How far are you allowed to stick out of your slip????? If you pull in forward, the 35 Fountain swim platform will only hang out maybe 2 feet. Even my 32 AT is about 34' LOA.

If you decide to extend your slip I can recomend a good company to deal with; contact Tim at Mid American Docks.
They just finished extending one of my slips and did a excellent job and very affordable. The also take care of all the permit issues.
