Ok first post, just put a deposit on a 93 236 that needs work, father/son project to say the least. I have been looking around at others for sale and have found a few that mention the back seat has insertable cushions to make a rear bed. I am unable to find any pictures and am wondering if any one has pictures that I would be able to show an upholster. Also was this an option or standard? Any additional information would be great as well. Thanks in advance for any/all help.

I don't have any pics but the rear seat is shaped like a horseshoe/U and there should be a little plastic lip that sticks out from each side of the "U". If I remember correctly it is 2 rectangular inserts that just rest on top of those lips. They are about 1 foot or 1 1/2 deep and span the width of the "U". If the previous owner doesn't have them, any interior shop could make them...its just a filler piece. I would recommend XT-INOVATORS on here! If there are any corrections, someone will chime in but the 236 was my first boat and that's how mine was. Great boat and made great use of its space. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info!!! Can't wait to get rolling on this, thanks for recommendation but Ohio is a long way from here to get the interior done! The entire cockpit needs to be restored, and am thinking about having a full camper made at the same time cost being the deciding factor.
