I'm in the process of repainting the bottom side of my hatch and am looking for something to use along the lip where the hatch rides to seal it and also keep the new paint from rubbing or getting scratched. I see Taco sells a self adhesive "hatch tape" has anyone ever used it?
Most of the self adhesive stuff I have used in the past smears off after a while due to heat.
Any suggestions?

Just used the Taco hatch seal on my Fountain to re-seal cabin hatch'es. Worked great w/ excellent adhesion. Almost tore product getting it re-placed after sticking it incorrectly. Only down fall, come's in 10' rolls so one roll does one hatch.
