Does anyone know where I can get plastic center caps that are open on the end for aluminum rims in 4.88-4.9" size. I presently have the S.S. ones, but they corroded my rims from saltwater before I even took delivery of the boat. The clearcote is flaking around the lugnuts and the rims look like $hit. I assume it was a reaction from the saltwater and dissimilar metals. I'm replacing the rims and don't want to go down the same road if the trailer was ever dunked in saltwater again. The caps also hold water in them till it evaporates making for a rusty mess around the hubs ( I know it seems excessive, but I'm in freshwater! ) so I think I'll drill drain holes in the new caps. Anyone have any insight on this issue, or am I destined to immediate failure with new rims?

+3 just search for hub caps etc there are plenty of places that carry used or new peices. Sometimes aftermarket makes some knock offs. I found ones once for a firebird they were knock offs but you couldnt tell the difference, I think they may have skewed it just a enough where it technically wasnt the same.
