August 22 – 26, 2012 at Lake of the Ozarks

The first annual Supercat Fest will be hosted at Camden at the Lake (Horny Toads – www.camdentononthelake.com or call toll free 888-365-5620) August 22 – 26 on Lake of the Ozarks. Our biggest event will be on Saturday evening, Boatcustoms.com will be having the first SUPERCAT SHOWDOWN boat show!

We will be awarding $10,000.00 dollars in prizes for:

1) Best of Show - $5,000.00
2) Best Paint - $1,000.00
3) Best interior - $1,000.00
4) Best engine compartment $1,000.00
5) Best dressed crew - $1,000.00
6) Longest distance traveled - $1,000.00

The event and location has been we received by the entire community and growing rapidly. This year the event has been dubbed “Supercat Fest” and was previously known as Skater Fest. The change in name resulted from its popularity and growing needs to include all Supercat boats. This event would not be possible without the help of Tom Borisch and Chris Mills from Boatcustoms. We are proud to be able to showcase these magnificent Supercats for the general public at Supercat Fest 2012.

Sorry in advance if I am about to ask a dumb question.........so this event runs along side the shootout? Or is all part of the shootout weekend?

I would say yes to both questions....when I started the event two years ago, it was for several reasons. One of the main reasons was to compliment the Shoot-Out with more attendees. We have had Cat owners come to the event that would never come to our pond here in the Midwest. I know for a fact... most have been impressed with what the Lake of the Ozarks has to offer and have talked about buying property on this little pond.

I feel anything we do is worked around or with Capt Ron's Shoot-Out schedule. One of the things we will be doing this year for the Supercat Fest attendees, we have a 56' Houseboat that will be anchored at the Shoot-Out for viewing on the top deck and cooling on the bottom deck. The guys will be able to raft off and enjoy the event.
