I blew my gen VI serpentine belt mpi and then bought older 454 MAG with V-BELT out of cat, but it`s missing power steering. After reading horror stories about VST i decided to convert all the accessories from my old mpi to mag, because power steering. My question is after I remove vst where do i route return line from fuel rail. My Mpi had no return line from fuel rail. The cool fuel pump is the same plug as VST pump. Can I just plug it there?

return to fuel tank seems to help with vaporlock. stock system(s) recycle pressurized heated fuel back to fuelrails.

Merc routes it back to the unused inlet on thee fuel filter/water separator.
