Default Outdrive anti-fouling paint recommendations?

Last year I used tempo clear primer and clear paint but it blew off somehow. I thought I prepped the drive just fine but I guess not. Anybody have better luck keeping algae and barnacles off the drive & tabs (besides buying a lift)??

Boat US sells something, starts with a V and costs $75 if I remember. Goes on with a brush, only one coat is needed. I don't know anything about it but if they have the nerve to make it that expensive maybe it actually works??

I use Trilux 2. Brushes OK and works good in fresh water except for the torpedo and skeg get stripped from the speed. Ask on Boatered. I remember Mike Ryan recommending something else.

Try some POR15 when I get my boat back together I'm gonna do my drives up in this to try to match the paint on the boat without having to spray them in Imron.

Ohh and it only bout $20 a pint just let it dry for 24-36 hrs before you use your boat

I just ordered the Veridian outdrive kit by Interlux. It's supposed to be amazing.

Satisfactio69: Just thought I would point out to you that POR does not have UV protectent in it so make sure you top coat it. That stuff is very good though and is tough as nails
