Default PBM hyd roller lifter preload?

I have start my engine with all new parts in them, and after about 10 min the engine start to make a lifter noise on both side. I have preload them one turn after the zero lash (.050) preload, so now i dont know if they are too tight or too loose, They are PBM parts no: (RL 931).

I have start the engine with mercruiser 25W40 mineral oil i dont know if it can be a oil grade problem, my oil pressure is at 80 psi at 105f engine temp idle.

Any sugestion?

There's a real good post on morel litter preload in here with some VERY good info from Bob Madara / "rmbuilder ". If I recall correctly preload should be 3/4 turn (with alum. heads) and 1/2 turn (with iron heads) using a 7/16-20 rocker arm stud.

I'm guessing that you were not actually at zero lash when you started and they are a little loose.
Generally, 3/4 of turn from zero lash is near perfect.

to 1 turn down to quiet them down...same symptom
as you discribe.
