Default Outlaw 20? Price

I have a friend that is considering buying a new 20' Outlaw.
I'm sure everyone has seen the new ad in Powerboat, Boating etc. magazines.
My question relates to the price. The ad's say $24,995 but what are people really buying them for?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

I think my dealer is selling them for around $22K. Problem is they are very hard to get.

I got an ad from Baja in the mail for the 20 outlaw and it was under 25 also. How can a dealer ask more for it....I would go to a different dealer than.

Thats still to much. There is a new left over Hammer with a BB on a trailer at my local dealer for 30,500. I'd take the hammer and the BB over a 20 outlaw and 5.0. Shop around there are alot of hammers out there. just my .02

Hammers are definatly the way to go either with a 6.2 or the 7.4 can be bought for 28-29,000 if you look hard enough, there are still left over 2000 models around and you know they need to move them, I think discontinuing the hammer was a big mistake if the 20 outlaw is the answer.
