Can anyone come up with the original Race / Boat number for the 1980 39' Bubbledeck "Popeye's", as raced by Al Copeland?
I have photographic evidence showing number 19 and number 5.

I now own the Boat and restoring back to Race condition - be nice to have the original number back on her hull.

Als first race boat was a 37.5ft Cigarette #37 Popeyes...I believe that all of his raceboats after that were #19;including the bubbledeck Cigarette;.except the 46ft Cougar Vee raced by his son which was #10;and when he was high points champion, and then his boats #1.

He also raced number 4 and 13 a lot but I think the bubble deck was 19. All the pictures I have show it as 19
