On June 9th, I was by the Detroit Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix. There were hardly any boats out on the water except for some big Yachts, seeing that there were 3-4 ft. swells with white caps on the Detroit River. At around 2:30 pm I noticed a boat coming down the river from the Lake St. Clair shooting a roaster tail. It was the Man of Steels 53 ft. OL Cat. This boat looked like it was just floating across the top of the water, at around 100 MPH. It turned around at the Ambassador Bridge and came back again doing about the same speed. The Man of Steel looked like it was just out for a Sunday ride, it was great to see this boat out and about. I got a few pictures of it as it came back.
Then around 5:30 pm I heard the unmistakable sound of an Offshore powering down the Detroit River. It was the Konrad Fountain of Youth driven by Brian Bunch. This is the only boat around here that is almost always driving at WOT and always putting on a great show for everyone on shore. I think that Brian still thinks that he is still racing. I got a couple of picture of Brian's boat. Thanks for putting on a show Barry and Brian.

Brian is definitely one of the coolest guy's you could ever meet, I throttled Fountain of Youth for 3yrs when we ran OPA and SBI, and those Konrad drives never ever missed a beat between racing and Poker runs.
