They are out there all day for that price depending on year and power. Your not gonna get a 29 with a five and a quarter but you can score 27s with black motors all day at that price

I bought mine last summer while I was deployed last year off of E-bay from Pier 57. But I checked out Offshore Only, Boat trader, Powerboat listings and even Craigslist everyday. There are alot out there for sale. I spent alot of time in front of the computer. Good Luck.

I bought an 04' and paid low 60's for it but it did only have 37 hours on it with a 525.

I asked several people and they said for future power get the 29.

just search for a 29 I wouldnt pay more than 35k -30 k for a 2000 or less and for a 27 probably no more than 30-32 for a 2000 or less which is in your budget. Pier 57 is selling a 1997 29 with twins for I think 38 or 39.

Make sure you get a survey and anything over 500hours without a rebuild I would have the engines thorughly checked and be prepared to replace the engines in a few years depending on use, which is fine but she be factored into your negoiations.

would not be in a 29 without twins. the cost of a single to get the same speed will not be any cheaper nor will fuel. Only thing you would save on would be annual maintenece such as oil filters and such.

29 with twins is a waste .... single 525/575 will blow away a twin in every way , fuel ,maint ,planing ....

525 would probably net the same performance results and 575 would porbably get you another 8-10mpg. But as far as maintenence it will end up being a wash and fuel will not be double in a twin either. As far as planing ehh I dont know. with tabs down my pops up in under 10 seconds.

Also when that 575 blows Id like to see the wallet after that rebuild
