Have the pitch thing down. But if I'm using a 14 3/4 diameter 23 pitch prop, running 4800 rpm, what would happen if I went to a 14 1/4 diameter 25 pitch? Would the half inch diameter make a noticeable offset? Curious..

Im wondering the same thing....Right now Im running a 23p Laser 2 prop which has a 14.25 diameter at 4500 rpm. Im wondering what effect changing to a 21p Mirage prop will have (14.75 inch diamter)...Less pitch, more diameter. I assume my rpm's will increase but will my speed increase or stay the same? Right now I need to get my rpm's into the correct range which is 4600-5000 and now Im just below my low end.

I have written many posts on this over the last 8 years or so since we started this forum.
Search back and you will learn a bunch.
Otherwise when I can I'll write more for you. Can't right now.
Diameter is a important factor. Some of the stuff I like to keep on the side since I've been training the competition for years LOL.
