Looking for an early 70's Cigarette steering wheel (or center cap) as seen in the picture below. Would appreciate any leads to one.

Thanks...

Here you go,

The stainless construction will also reduce interference to your magnetic compass.

I've bought two of them they are the correct replacement.

Thanks Brownie and Jeff for the information about Covico! Any idea where I could locate the Cigarette logo for the center cap?

in the 70s at cigarette , Don ordered those centre caps from a company in Italy . they were custom made in brass and the cig logo was hand painted and fired in ceramic . with a center stud for mounting in the chrome plated cap . I recall them a a heavy peace . we used them on all the production boats. not on the race boats , they would fall off. sonny miller I will buy one if some one will call me

If you ordered a boat from Don , it got delivered , if you ordered a hull, it got delivered , if you ordered a mold , it all got delivered on time. He wore topsiders,we wore topiders, He smoked shermans, we smoked shermans , He wanted to race,we wanted to race. He treated us all the same.He was a class act . He gave a small guy like me a chance to run with the big guys for a long time. sonny miller, back in the day...........

Sonny:

It seems that in your own words, you have captured the essence of what made Don, Don.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

PJ
