Probably, mine is at 38' but trailer was originally designed for 33-35' boat.

Just over 7,000 lbs with empty tanks..
Any BIG differences in ride from the 280?
Haven't been in a 280 but would imagine the 2' and 2,000 lbs make for a much better ride...
