Just a little concerned ,have 2001 496ho. Runs great, but this season motor will not start on initial crank of starter, but stop cranking & fires up on second cranking of starter, then runs fine ,,,,,,,does anybody think this is a warning,or not to worry? Thanks to all

How is your battery? I would also check / clean the main ground on the back of the motor.

How many hours on the engine?

Is this with fuel that sat in it since last season?

What fuel pump do you have? Just had this problem on my truck with EFI, wasn't getting enough pressure to the fuel rail on first crank. Replaced the fuel pump starts instantly every time.
