I have a friend that owns a 32' Sunsation with twin 500 EFI, built by Tyler Crocket, Motors and XR drives with 1.5 ratios. Both drives are bad and he is looking for replacement units. Engines are putting out around 620 HP.

Who is reputable, who has warranty on rebuilt units, who stands behind their product? Who does everyone on OSO recommend, or has dealt with, trustworthy?

I would go with IMCO. XRs wont last very long with 620hp going to them

Brad, I too recommend Mr Gadgets. He will build a drive about as good as it gets.
Did Joel toast his drives? I wouldn't be surprised, his driving style would be tough on a drive.

The info may be a better choice for him.

Another Vote for George at AADS! Great guy to work with. Built some cryo'd x-mods for my old 35 Ex and warrantied them for 2 years. Never met anyone as meticulous as George. When I took my drives down there he disassembled them in from of me to show me the condition b4 I left. Spent 3 hours walking me through the entire process. Dick (Mr Gadgets) has a great rep as well. Don't think you can go wrong with either. It just depends on how fast you want them done!
