Default Any Grand lake guys willing to look at a boat for me?

I'm looking at buying a boat in Grove, OK. A 1990 16 Wahoo. Cool cheap little boat similar to a whaler. I need someone to check it out, make sure the transom isn't rotten, and compression checks out on the Suzuki. Let me know if anyone is interested. Its at Elk River Landing Marina

Thanks,

Andy

Sorry.

Is it being brokered by Elk River? They are pretty good outboard dudes over there. Are you buying it sight unseen?

I've got a deposit on the boat and plan on going to see it 6/30 and hopefully take it home. Its kind of a brokerage, but I've been dealing with the owner who lives in arkansas. He put the boat there to sell.

Need someone to watch the marina do a compression check. Maybe put your foot on the OB skeg to see if the transom flexes. Also take a look at the trailer and see if it will handle the roadtrip. Not really worried about anything else.

Hopefully we will get to do some boating on grand lake.

I wouldn't mind checking it out but it would be next weekend until I could get there.

Might drop Rebarbox a line. He lives in Grove.

Thanks for the offer Rebarbox. I'm going to come up this weekend to have a looksy and hopefully tow it home. Hopefully I'll have some time to hit up a waterfront restaurant. Any places to eat on the water close to Elk River Landing Marina?

Some pics. Anybody ever owned one of these?

What do you consider "close"?

There's really not that much for food on that end of the lake. About a half mile south on the other side of sailboat bridge theres a restaurant/marina..
