My 255 Formula Liberator has a lined bilge. About 4" from the transom there is a 5" opening over the center of the bilge that is about 12" deep. This is where the previous owner had the bilge pump. It was on a bracket and attached with zip ties along with the float switch. There was a 90* ell on the side of the pump connecting to the bilge discharge hose. I'm not sure what Formula used originally but I don't like this crappy arrangement and intend to replace it.

Does anyone make a Bilge Pump with a float switch in the 1500 GPH size that will fit in this opening? I must have the ability to attach the bilge hose to a 90* ell to connect to the discharge hose.

Not cheap, but here is an automatic bilge pump that has the 90* collar.....have used the 750GPH with no issues. Quiet and easy to install. Would definitely confirm if all the models have the interchangeable outlet collars.

Can you make the access hole longer to get more room to work for a solid mount for the pump and then glass the exposed cut over?
