Default Blue Angels over Baltimore.

For those who missed it. I came back up from the St Michaels boat show just to see this then went right back again to the 24.
Man I love my new Canon Rebel T2i.

"O say can you see" (that's Ft McHenry in the background)

Couple of these bad boys 200 years ago and the war of 1812 would just be an after thought.

The Blue Angels are so bad ass!
Watched them the other morning on base in Pensacola and got to see the whole team in action from maintaining the planes all the way to take off. The things they do are amazing!

The basest ass machines on the planet are fighter jets, the people who fly them in combat are freaks of nature and are more un human than
6-2 230lb 4.4 40 speed nfl players, the jets make our go fast boats look like nothing machines... Simply unreal and there is nothing like them!!!

We had them on Long Island over Memorial weekend. Due to the nature of my business ( I'm in the beer industry ), I'm not usually available on holiday weekends, however, I am off on Fridays, and I usually get to see some "practice runs" that day. Pretty cool stuff

i watched a demo of the F-18 in 77. it could do figure 8's at 60 mph at 45degrees angle of attack. then hit the gas and accelerate straight up. it is now almost a 40 year old design, and not much we have and i doubt anything the other guys have can match it's performance...

Nice shots. The Angels do the airshow in Jacksonville every year, and I haven't missed it yet. I always get a ton of great pics.

I haven't seen the Thunderbirds in a bunch of years. They used to do a show on the same weekend as the Benihana in Point Pleasant Beach. I grew up there, so I saw them every year.

I saw them practicing over the Naval Academy a few years ago, felt like they were putting on a show just for me.
