Just purchased a 13,000 elevator lift from IMM boat lifts also known as Quality lifts. The gearing/motor set up jamms up under a load because the mounting design is soo poorly engineered! The company will not even send out a rep or stand behind it. Ican not use my new 38 fountain! any suggestions??

It doesn't have some sort of manual Backup?

what area of the country are you in ?

Are you sure that you have the correct voltage to the motors. I had trouble with mine after we had some dredging done. Turns out that the electrician re-wired from 240 volts to 120. The lift was working very slow and would stall just as the lift would hit the weight of the boat. The motors sounded like a problem in the gear box, but it was just the wrong voltage.
