Hey all...
Quick question -- is it possible to change the valve cover gaskets on a 1990 Mercruiser 454 Magnum "without" having to remove the exhaust manifolds???
Any input, would be appreciated.

Yes, use a 1/4 swivel socket. Small piece of tape to hold bolt in socket when putting back in.
Also when you reinstall them I have put two studs on the bottom rail to keep the valve cover in place. Its also much easier to put a nut on a stud than a bolt in a blind hole and only a $1 or $2.
