help me out guys.... crazy hot out heading up to the cottage with a couple girls. one of the bearings on the trailer is messed up. can i just take that wheel off and and tow it on the three wheels to the ramp. its super close, about half a mile. am i better off taking off both the wheels on that axle?

help a brother out here and save this day of boating!

btw its a 2006 eagle tandem trailer and the boat is a larson senza 206... truck is a gmc sierra crew cab.

Yep. be careful. You could aslo wrap a strap around the axle with the bad bearing and winch it up a little.

Strap or chain it up. The axle will sag and smash the ground over bumps f ucking up the threads ......

Like they said above. Strap the axle up and take your time. You will be fine!

Been there done that. Roll on down the road with your fingers crossed. You will have a few people looking at you strange but you are boating. This is why i keep a strap on board. Be safe and have fun.

Yes but strap the axle up to keep the other wheel level. Hope Your tires aren't to old. Take your time. Artie

Strap the axle. Make sure your other tires are up to full pressure, I do trailer tires and 3 6ply tires should be good for 4500-5000lbs even though the single will obviously bear more weight
