Last week I purchased a set of Hardin Marine stainless slip-in silencers from CP but I don't think I am going to use them. They were used for about 4 hours testing, and are in new condition. The reason I am selling is because I can't stand not hearing my beloved big block barking at me.(My wife would stringly disagree) Anyways, these worked quite well and had considerable less noise.(about 8-10dB) The best thing about them is that they take all of 30 seconds to remove or install them. These are good for up to 430hp. I am right there on HP, so they would probably work perfectly with a 496 or 454.
