Default Reverend Jim Black

Thanks. You bring comfort and wisdom to the races and that is much appreciated. I can't help but think that your prayers saved me from being thrown out of the evil Warlock at least twice on Sunday. Although we found out our outdrive wouldn't trim out I'm sure there was some intervention there.

Thanks Jim for all you do.

Jim black, has been a Great source of Calm to me. My late son George Jr., George Stancomb, Tyler Crockett,Bobby Kieber, and My self have wrapped our arms around Jim Black before many Races and each other in prayer.I never thought of my self as religous but I can tell my many offshore friends, Jim Black has helped me understand, believe, and accept what I found Impossible to accept on my own. Jims simple common sense delivery of the word as he understands it and therefor passes it on to a bunch of gear heads hell bent on speed-- speed-- speed-- is truly a unique art form. Thank You Jim your very much Appreciated And Loved buy us all. Grumpy G Driver Crockett's Rockett

While traveling to E. Tawas, MI I thought to myself well Jim Black probably won't be at this race site. Not with the changes that were made on such short notice. But you were there in E. Tawas. It wouldn't be the same driver's meeting on Sunday for sure if you weren't there. Just like George Eisenhart said when you share the words to our racers from your Bible you help make sense to things we can't wrap our heads around. I always look forward to that prayer on the dock or at the crane with you and our team before our race. See you in St. Clair.

When I start to lose faith in just about everything, Jim always helps me find it again! He's very special. Now if I can only get him to pick propellers for me lol. Thank you , Louie

Jim is always there when you need him. I also am not religious. When he speaks its not in a way that makes me feel like im in church but in a way that is up lifting and full of messages that we are blessed. He is without dispute the best uplifting person I like being around. He just plain makes me feel good. Thanks Jim !!!!!!!
