Default Need help deciding Baja 272 vs 290

Hi guys like the title says I'm looking at either purchasing a 272 or a 290 both would be in the 1993-1996 years but would like people To chim in on both models

1. What engines came in both in those years (seems most 272 have single Efi 454/502 and 290 have twin 454 carb)
I'd prefer twin 350 efi if possible

2. How do they compare in size (is it a big difference do both have toilets, sink etc)

3. Mpg (yes I know they're boats and I get 1.4mpg in my express cruiser but I'll be doing a 30 mile trip once a week so it matters to me)

Thanks to all in advance
Matt

272 had a port o potti in the cuddy as an option no sink just a bed and 2 bench's those years you could get a carb or a efi with different engine set ups as for fuel useage never pay any attention when i get low i put more in but with what i do i can 2 to 3 weeks on a tank but i am not running 30 miles each way all of the time either

I have a 270 w/new 502 and Fuel consumption is actually reasonable. It's for sale, pm me if youre interested. In 95% of this situations running @ 3000-3400 rpms is going to net your best fuel mpgs.
