30 amp shore power question

is the 3 prong 30 amp shore power the same as a 30 amp 3 prong generator twist lock plug? thank in advance

My generator has a 4 prong 220 which is totally different. If you have one with a three prog it is probably an RV plug, which is smaller than the spread of the boat one.
