I have a 1998 302. not sure what the steering is called some sort of power assist. My problem is there is some sort of valve block mounted to the right side drive gimbal inside the boat. It is leaking fluid everywhere almost looks like it is cracked off the steering cable mount. here are some pictures any ideas. my local dealer says the numbers on it say it fit a 496 mag but my motors are 7.4
