Hey guys Im looking at a 1993 velocity 26 and i want to know how to check the stringers and the transom. I was told the transom was done 5 years ago and it looked fine, but im not sure what to look for. Any help and any other info about this boat would be great! Boat has no tabs and no hyd steering and is a 502. What was the first year they made these? Thanks again

Find a marine surveyor that has a moisture meter. When I bought my 280 I had it surveyed by a licensed surveyor. I think it cost about $200 at the time.
