Default 36 outlaw question

Found a pump under cabin stair in a sealed container beside charger, can someone tell me what this is. It wouldn't shut off and drained my batteries. It looks like a bilge pump with a float switch next to it but not sure why it's in a box.
Thanks

It can't be a cabin bilge as it is the same level as cabin floor. it has an inlet hose and a discharge hose. It looks like troper is correct with a shower pump but i don't have a shower. Could it be an emergency pump if the grey water holding tank gets to full?
