anybody had any luck calling there lately, I can only get an operator on the phone and she of course knows nothing other than transferring you to the computer system which after 10 minutes of being on hold nobody answers.

Default Only slightly off point...

...not too long ago I was having trouble getting through at a parts provider (technical assistance) I use. Nothing after a long wait. Not sure how long, I usually slam the phone after about 10 minutes.

Made the mistake of calling right back and giving the operator a piece of my limited mind. Only to realize she was numb to it all.

Waited for a while, and called back. Told the operator I was from one of the boat manufacturer's around here (long before had gone under) and shock and amazement... the service tech answered the phone.

It was only a slight lie, I own one of the boats and the part I needed might have worked on it!
