I need to have a 502 block cleaned, freeze plugs replaced, cam bearings removed/installed and machined. I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation on where to bring it. Prefer someone with marine engine experience. I live in Toms River but would be willing to travel a little for the right shop. What would be a good ballpark price to go by?

You could also try Bison in Wall right in the Airpark. A couple of the marine guys around TR use him. I had an auto cylinder head decked by him and he seemed like a decent guy with good knowledge?

my father (and I sometimes) at Shore Motorsports in Toms River is capable of rebuilding the engine. he outsources the machine work and does all of the after machining cleaning and assembly himself.
