Okay one down, one to go.
I have been pissing and moaning all freakin day but now the one RUNS
I gave birth to a bouncing lumpy 454
Now one left to get fired up
Get this
One fuel filter, seperator was not full, I switched between the engines and put #1 fuel filter on #2 engine
(#1 fuel filter was full to the brim with gas)
did that , blew out the vent line to see if I could work the fuel up to the carb so she would catch and run, no luck
Poured some fuel down carb and slapped the arrestor back on real quick
she choked and coughed and kablam
fired up
Had to juice it a tad to keep it running from the cams
wow is this thing loud
I think I woke up Lincoln from his eternal dirt nap
WOOHOO
Now to pull the drive off the one engine and solve the IM IN REVERSE AT IDLE issue and #2 should fire up.
Have to go let the one idle for about 10 minutes or so and see if it likes 2000 RPM's
OH MAN today has been worth all the swearing, tool tossing and *****ing I have been doing for 4 days
one more and Im going OUT ON THE WATER my brothers
