If you are comparing with the same bed size...
...the goose neck trailer is longer.
If you are comparing over all length of the rig (tow vehicle and trailer) they will be very close to the same.
On a goose neck trailer the load is moved forward a bit which does make a slight difference in the over all length. I have used both and there are advantages/disadvantages to both.
