Maybe some have better luck with performance boats than myself, but I know I dont stand alone !!!!
Just decided im scoring a second boat as a chill / backup boat for next season. This way when my powerboat pukes on itself I can still get out on the water even if its only at 35.

Thinking possibly a avanti 26 cc with o.b & the v berth
Scarab 30 cc with o.b & v berth
Or just a smaller 25`+ cruiser......sea ray, rinker, four winns , etc.....

Who else has a second boat? And what ya got ?

I just picked up a 20' Sea Doo but it's for the skiing and wake boarding with the kids but it is good cheap fun! Good luck.

just was able to get a 1989 26 ft sea ray with nice little cabin.. doesn't run and some work but it was free,so i can't complain.

...or lifted? Or something you will be trailering?

I have a backup boat but it doesnt run either.

Not opposed to anything so long as I can have some turn key reliability......... Ideally I think id like a sm cc with a couple ox66 and a vberth for overnights.
Just want to see what everybody else is up to?

I don't have a backup boat, but have a very fortunate situation - I live next door to my folks - they have a 27 Wellcraft Coastal with a pair of 225 Yamaha's on it. Sometimes we use it instead of our boat because it is so easy, especially for night cruises and creek crawling.
