Exclamation Merc mechanic North ot Tampa?

I need a good Merc racing mechanic (for 525's) near or North of Tampa.
Innovation been working on these but they are just a bit too far and I have very little time. Any service people around New Port Richey? Clearwater? I need to get something done ASAP.
Thx
P

You got Piper Marine in West Tampa or if you can make it to St. Pete, you got Pro Marine at the Statement factory.

The problem is, I don't know what needs to be done. All of the sudden the strbrd engine runs rough, dies at idle, spits and sputters and noise, almost whistling sound is evident. I need to read the codes first and see what's going on. Possible valves, rings, or whatever.

Thanks. I know Innovation really well and they know my boat.
I'm pressed for time so for now, I want some one closer and check it out.

You can read your own codes with an LED and a paper clip jumper. If it is an IAC as suggested, which sounds like a real possibility based on past experience, they are easy enough to change yourself.

Is potter to far? I know you would have to drag it over the sky bridge but it's not that bad.
