Underwater LED's
I know this has kind of been beat to death but I can't find any real apples to apples comparisons and I am looking for something in the next day or two and I am stuck... I boat in murky water mostly and am looking for the brightest light I can find but some require power modules and remotes etc.. which seem to be a PITA. I am probably going to go Blue but could be talked into a multicolor light.
Shadow Casters look great at $600 but no claimed lumen output
Ocean LEDs A12 Pro seem like the industry standard and claim 1300 lumens for $817
Aqua LEDs Aqua 18 claim 1250 lumens but they cost $125
Abyss S1515 Claims 1610 lumens at $547
and Livorsi 10 LED has lights they claim are 2500 lumen at about $750
On Ebay I found these lights called BlingLamps where you can buy 3 for $660 and claim 2700 lumens per light
Now the truth is that the Shadow Casters look the best and are probably what I am going to order but some of these others seem like good deals especially the AquaLED which claim the same basic output and I could buy 12 for what 2 of most of the others cost... Anybody have a set of the Aqua's that could testify to their brightness and look?

For my formula I went with the Ocean LED A12 blue, but not the PRO version.

Ck out the Lumishores. They have many different models from basic to color change. I am pretty sure they have a comparison chart on their site. They are brighter than the Ocean Led's. I have the SMX150's on my boat.

I installed Lumishore Drivelite X-90 Color Change Plus Underwater LED's on my boat last year. The really cool thing about these lights is that you don't have to choose just one color to run on your boat... The lights come with a controller that allows you to choose from (6) pre-set colors: Blue, Green, Red, Magenta, Cyan and White... or you can custom mix ANY color that you choose.
I really wanted purple underwater led's and Lumishore is the only manufacturer that I'm aware of that has purple (see photo) as an option. The only downside with the purple, is that it doesn't illuminate the water quite as far as the colors with less red in them such as white, cyan, green & blue.

I have the OceanLED A6. I wanted red knowing it's not the brightest but that is my boat color. For me it was for the effect and they worked beautifully!
Much brighter than I expected, you can see my boat in the middle pic. third boat in and the red light reflecting off the dock.

Just found this and wanted to share with anyone that wanted to see... It is a independent test by yachtlights.com in a swimming pool with a single light!
