I have twin 7.4lx in a 96 Baja. Port engine kills when the bow is high or boat comes airborn. It will also kill coming off plane. The only way to start back it to hold the throttle wide open. It runs rough but clears out when it starts. The boat runs fine if its not rough. Any ideas?

Carbs or EFI?

sounds like carbs. sounds like stuck float-flooding...

Efi. I brought it to a mechanic today. He said sounds like a idle valve. He called it something but I can't remember what. Said if that is what it is, it will not be to expensive.
