Default OSO super S-L-O-W to load?

Is it just me (and BOTH of my computers), or do others have to wait while a whole pile of messages flash across the bottom of the screen every time that I open a new page? This is like being back in the dial-up days. Exasperating...

(Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8)

nope, seems fine here. Using Firefox and i never get any pop ups either. Also seems like most of those flash screens are blocked from even initiating, half of them remain blank with just the F symbol in them. No speed issues ever and I use Verizon and my Droid phone exclusively as my ISP.

Check your speed here and see what you get outside of OSO. I get anywhere from 10 to 18mbps

Running Google Chrome instead of IE8. Still sucks. I've also run SpyBot to clear my computer with no luck...

Get rid of the '486 computer and upgrade to a Pentium.
