seems like poker runs are very popular around the country.Long Islands south shore would be a great place to have one.There could be starts anywhere from freeport to the hamptons and anywhere in between

I agree and have always said this...... so many great lunch stops from Oceanside to Fire Island and you can have your choice of real ocean running or state channel......... I have to mention it again to Billy from NPBA.......

land of no, cant even have a race in the ocean. the hot toddy run used to be great, from robert mosses bridge to hamptons. Then shortened to smith pt bridge. and now no longer. No one wants the liability. we need to just say a time and date, no one organizer

i hear you on the liability thing, it puts a damper on everything. Just picking a place, date, and time sounds like a good idea though..........just a nice run and then stop for lunch somewhere.........
