Default no water to engine with bravo1

Is there a pump in a bravo? I was to understand there isn't, but the sea pump is spinin' and there is no water going to the engine. Should I pull off the sea pump or am I starting in the wrong place?

Thanks.

Likely the impeller on the sea pump. If by any chance you hit bottom and sucked up sand/mud it may be plugged

Yessir, the sea pump was NFG. Also found sand in the block and both freeze plugs popped. Also discovered the thermostat was MIA
