Default St. Clair Classic

Have a question for anyone that can answer it. Today I saw Miss Geico and JD BYRIDER testing and they both had strobe lights on them flashing. What are they for?

Synching the rpms on engines "mechanically"

When the strobe stops blinking theyre synched?

Saw it on an old houseboat once. Lol my guess.

This is what I was told, that in Europe all canopy boats have to have a strobe light to help safety rescue divers find the canopy underwater.
